Dorothy A. (Jones) Keaton of Hampstead, New Hampshire, formerly of Reading passed away on Sunday November 30, 2003 at Parkland Medical Center in Derry, New Hampshire. She was 75 years of age.

Born and raised in Reading, Dorothy was the daughter of the late William F. Jones and Marguerite (Halloran) Jones. She was a loving and caring daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be missed by all.

Dorothy was a member of St. Agnes Guild and a volunteer at St. Agnes School. She volunteered at election polls during and after elections. She helped raise and care for many foster children through the Catholic Charities of Boston.

Dorothy was the devoted mother of Ann Carter and her husband Ed of North Reading, Fred P. Keaton III and his wife Wanda of Auburn, NH, Mary Downing and her husband Leo of GA, Kathleen Wallace and her husband Don of Dracut, Christopher Keaton and his wife Priscilla of Tuftonboro, NH, James Keaton and his wife Michelle of VA, and Patrick Keaton of Methuen. She was the cherished grandmother of Kristen Carta and her husband Scott, Joshua Keaton, Jeremy Keaton, Katelyn Carter, Daniel Carter, Trisha Wallace, Brian Wallace, Andrew Keaton, Adam Keaton and Benjamin Keaton. Dorothy was the dear sister of Sr. Mary Aelred of Sisters of Saint Joseph, Alice Jones and her late husband William of Reading, Marguirte "Honey" Sullivan and her husband Jack of RI, Elizabeth Jones and her late husband Robert, Paul Jones and his wife Eleanor of Wilmington, Daniel Jones and his wife Marge of Tewksbury, Alice Clattenburg and her husband George of Stow, Christine Clattenbury and her late husband Robert of Reading, Charles Clattenburg of TX, and Paul Clattenburg of CA.

Funeral from the Joseph Doherty Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING Friday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Theresa's Church, 63 Winter St. North Reading at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours Thursday 2-4 & 6-9pm. Parking is available in the municipal parking lot located behind Atlantic Supermarket on Haven St.
