Dorothy Paolella

Dorothy "Dottie" (Hatfield) Paolella of Stoneham passed away on Friday, October 26, 2012. She was 90 years of age.





Born in Boston, Dottie was the loving daughter of the late John Hatfield and Annie (Meuse) Hatfield. Dottie was a warm and caring daughter, sister, wife, aunt, godmother and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.





Dottie was the Past President of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW in Stoneham. She was a loyal, proud and dedicated member since 1957. Dottie had a warm and caring personality. Her beautiful smile reflected all of the wonderful relationships she had made during her life.





Dottie was the beloved wife of the late Alfred J. Paolella. She was the dear sister of the late Kenneth Hatfield, Robert Hatfield, Grace Praedel, Mabel Orde and Doris Lane. Dottie was also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and godchildren.





Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Friday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Dorothy's Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and handicapped entrance are available. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery, Stoneham.
