Dorothy G. (Koshefsky) Perras

Dorothy G. (Koshefsky) Perras of Stoneham, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2013. She was 86 years of age.

Born on March 21, 1927 in Hartford, Connecticut, Dorothy was the loving daughter of the late Henry Koshefsky and Gertrude (Olsheski) Koshefsky. Dorothy was a warm and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her. She will be missed by all who had the privilege to be a part of her life.

Dorothy was a dedicated data entry analyst for Nassau County Police Department for many years. Her true passion was for her family. They were first and foremost in her life.

Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late Walter Perras. She was the devoted mother of John Perras and his wife Linda Stuart, Tracy Boies and her husband Pete, Pat Kowalczyk and her late husband Joe, Pam Perras and her husband Vitterio Bucchieri and Cindy Perras. Dorothy was the cherished grandmother of Christopher Perras and his wife Nicole, Devin Perras, Kara Pilotte, Cody Boies, Jeff Boies, Marc Bucchieri, Samantha Boies, Lyndsey Kowalczyk, Stefan Bucchieri, Andrew Kowalczyk and Jenny Kowalczyk. She was the dear sister of George Koshefsky and his wife Lillian, and the late Robert Koshefsky and his late wife Mary and the late Henry "Buddy" Koshefsky and his late wife Ruth. She was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are cordially invited to a Funeral Mass Celebrating Dorothy's Eternal Life on Saturday, November 2, 2013 in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., STONEHAM at 10 am. Visiting Hours will be held prior to the Mass beginning at 8:30am in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM.
