Douglas J. McGaw

Douglas J. McGaw, of Dracut, formerly of Stoneham, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2022. 

Born in Cambridge, Douglas was the son of the late Robert J. Alloway and Barbara J. (Sawyer). 

Douglas was a veteran of Vietnam serving in the United States Navy with the Seabee's.He was a longtime resident of Stoneham and worked for Stoneham Town Taxi for many years. He will be missed by all who knew him.
 
Douglas was the brother of Kirk McGaw, Marc Alloway, Kathy Dunkling and the late Maryann Thrift. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. 

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with the family on Wednesday June 1st, 2022 in the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT28) STONEHAM from 10 am to 12 pm followed by a Funeral Service Celebrating Douglas' Eternal Life at 12. Parking attendants and elevator available. Interment with Military Honors will be held in Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
