Douglas J. Roy

Douglas J. Roy of Medford, formerly of Reading passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024.  He was 68 years of age.

Doug was the loving son of the late Normand Roy and Nancy (Lee) Roy Burns and the stepson of the late John Burns.  Doug was a warm and kind person as well as a loving son, brother, husband, father, uncle and friend who will be deeply missed.

Doug was the beloved husband of Patricia (Gillis) Roy and the devoted father of Jamie Lyn Roy and Joseph Douglas Roy.  Doug was also the cherished brother of Sandy Cowell and her husband Mark, Tom Roy and his wife Ellie, Danny Roy, Scott Burns and his wife Laura and David Burns and his wife Maureen.  Doug is also survived by his loving nieces, nephews and cousins.  He will be missed by all who knew and loved him, including a dear family friend, Carrie Jenkins.
