Edith M. (Muise) Meuse of Stoneham formerly of Reading passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at her home. She was 82 years of age.
Born in Reading, Edith was the daughter of the late Sylvia (Doucette) Meuse and Benjamin Muise.
Edith was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend and will be missed by all. Edith was very religious. She enjoyed spending time at her cottage in Nova Scotia, camping and traveling. She also loved quilting, she enjoyed sewing and knitting quilts.
Edith was the beloved wife for 60 years of Thomas R. Meuse. She was the devoted mother of Richard Meuse and his wife Leann of Stoneham, Donna LaMattina and her husband Joe of NH and Sandra Costa and her husband Paul of Peabody. She was the cherished grandmother of 10 and great grandmother of 3. Edith was the loving Sister of Elizabeth Conroy of N. Reading, Ann Carl of ME and William Muise of NJ. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT28) STONEHAM Wednesday at 9 am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Edith's Life in St. Patrick Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10 am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours Tuesday 4-8 pm. Parking attendants will be available. Interment Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
