Edna M. (Gorey) Beighley, of Reading, passed away on Thursday February 28th, 2008 at the Woodbriar Nursing Home in Wilmington. She was 90 years old.
A life long resident of Reading, Edna was the daughter of the late Edward H. Gorey and Mary Ellen (Martin) Gorey. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grand mother, great grandmother and friend. She will be missed by all.
Edna was the beloved wife of the late David Beighley. She was the devoted mother of Edna Mitchell of N.H., David Beighley Jr. of W. Virginia and Earl J. Beighley of N.H. Loving grandmother of 2 and great grandmother of 2. Dear sister of Vincent Gorey of FL.
Funeral from the Doherty Barile Family Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING Tuesday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Edna's Life in St. Athanasius Church 300 Haverhill St. Reading at 10am.
Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours Monday 4-7pm. Parking attendants will be available. Interment Forest Glen Cemetery, Reading.
