Edward W. O'Donnell

Edward W. O'Donnell, of Stoneham, passed away on December 17, 2015 at 94 years of age. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend and will be missed by all who knew him.
Edward is a family man. He was married to Lorraine for sixty-four years and was very proud to be a father and grandfather. Edward is a seasoned veteran of the United States Navy where he was a Lieutenant. He is a member of his local V.F.W. and of the American Legion. Post 0024 in Canton. After leaving the military, Edward was employed with Raytheon for thirty-two years. In his spare time he enjoyed traveling and very much loved the Cape. Edward is a parishioner at Saint Patrick Church, a parish which he holds dear to his heart.
Edward is the beloved husband of the late M. Lorriane (Reinhardt) O'Donnell. He is the devoted father of Richard E. O'Donnell and his wife Ann-Louise, Mark V. O'Donnell and his wife Mary, Brian P. O'Donnell and his wife Lorraine and David J. O'Donnell and his wife Noelle. Edward is the cherished grandfather of Kevin O'Donnell and his wife Brittany, Michael O'Donnell, Emily Roy and her husband Gregg, Eileen O'Donnell, Margaret O'Donnell, Christopher O'Donnell, Keith O'Donnell and his wife Carolyn, Shannon Hoy and her husband Stephen and Stephen O'Donnell. He is the loving son of the late William and Margaret O'Donnell. Edward is the dear brother of the late Paul O'Donnell and Louis O'Donnell. He is the brother-in-law to Mary O'Donnell.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Tuesday, December 22th, 2015 at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Edward's Eternal Life in Saint Patrick Church, at 10am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with the Family prior to the funeral from 8-9:30am in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and elevator are available. Interment at National Cemetery, Bourne.
