Edward R. Ropple

Edward R. "Ted" Ropple of Reading passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2005 at Kindred Hospital in Peabody. He was 77 years of age.
Born in Everett, Ted was the son of the late William Ropple and Ellen (Madan) Ropple. Ted was a warm and caring son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He will be missed by all.
Ted was a dedicated Purchasing Agent for Brockway Smith Company. He was an avid coin collector and Red Sox fan. He was devoted to his family. They were first and foremost in his life. Ted was also a World War II United States Navy Veteran.
Ted was the beloved husband of the late Eleanor M. (Barrett) Ropple. He was the devoted father of Edward R. Ropple Jr. and his wife Deborah of Maine, Lisa Ropple Wilk and her husband Jonathan of Belmont, Valerie Walsh and her husband Christopher of Maryland, Amy Ropple and her husband Adnan Bozova of Woburn. He was the cherished grandfather of Edward R. Ropple III, Benjamin Ropple, Matthew and Alexander Ropple Wilk and the dear brother of Elaine Sullivan of Somerville, Tania Brown of Georgia, Robert Ropple and Kay Donohue, both of California, Jack Ropple of Texas, and Joseph Ropple of Woburn. Ted was also survived by his loyal Boxer, Molly.
A Funeral Mass celebrating Ted's life will be held on Monday at 10am in St. Joseph's Church, 100 Washington St. WOBURN. Interment Wood End Cemetery, Reading.
