Edward F. Solano, Sr. of Peabody and formerly of the West End of Boston, Sunday, January 27th, 2019, surrounded by his loving family at the age 91.
He served his country in the United States Navy aboard the USS North Carolina during WWII. Edward's greatest joy came from being with family and was full of life. He spent many years in Acapulco during Winter and going on cruises with his loving wife.
He is the beloved husband of 68 years to Rita (Mucci) Solano. Loving father of Charles E. Solano, of Hollywood, FL Edward F. Solano, Jr. of Peabody, Richard P. Solano of Peabody and Lori M. Solano-Grady and her fiancé Patrick McIntosh of Exeter, NH. Cherished grandfather of Katrina Grillo and her husband Nicholas, Nicholas Solano and Tara Grady. Great grandfather of Julia Grillo. Loving brother of the late Frank, Rose, Lena, Charles, Joseph and Elena.
