Eileen (Proulx) Calla of Georgia, formerly of Malden and Wakefield, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2005. She was 85 years of age.
Born in Canada, Eileen was the beloved daughter of the late Ernest Proulx and Lorinda E. (Haggerty) Proulx. Eileen was a warm and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be missed by all.
Eileen was a dedicated secretary for Dardino and Laird law firm for many years. She was a devoted homemaker as well. Her family was first and foremost in her life.
Eileen was the beloved wife of the late Domenic Calla. She was the devoted mother of Catherine Jencks and her husband Frederick of Georgia, Robert Calla and his wife Barbara of Reading. Eileen was the cherished grandmother of Valerie and Michael Jencks, Diana Calla and the late Steven Calla. She was the dear sister of the late Reginald, Lawrence and Myrtle Proulx.
Funeral from the Joseph Doherty - Barile Family Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING Tuesday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Eileen's life in St. Athanasius Church, 300 Haverhill St. Reading at 10am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours Monday 3-7pm. Parking is available in the municipal parking lot located behind Atlantic Supermarket on Haven St. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery, W. Roxbury.
