Elaine Jacqueline Siggins, 81, of Reading passed away peacefully on February 8th, surrounded by family.
Elaine was born to the late Arthur and Mary (Doucette) Freniere of North Cambridge as the youngest of three sisters; the late Marie Simard and Louise Sabatino of Sebastian Florida. She graduated from Our Lady of Pity High School in 1951.
An active member of St. Agnes Parish for over 50 years, Elaine was a Eucharist Minister and member of the choir. She worked as a hairdresser, homemaker and retail associate at Reading Card and Party and Filenes. Spending time with her grandchildren was her greatest joy. Elaine will be fondly remembered by all for always having a smile on her face and being dressed to perfection.
Elaine was the loving mother of Jacqueline Noyes and her husband Stephen of North Attleboro; and Arthur Siggins and his wife Suzanne (Hale) of Medford. Loving "Memee" to Brittany and Jordan Tassone, Liam and Ayla Siggins and remembered fondly by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
Funeral from the Doherty Barile Family Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING Friday at 9:30am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Elaine's Eternal Life in St. Agnes Church 186 Woburn St. Reading at 10:30am. Interment Woodend Cemetery, Reading. Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share remembrances with the family on Thursday 4-8pm in the funeral home. Parking attendants and handicapped entrance available. There will be a celebration of Elaine's life following the burial. Everyone is welcome.
