Elaine (Merisotes) Yeomelakis

Elaine (Merisotes) Yeomelakis, of Stoneham, passed away peacefully on Friday July 18, 2025 at home with her family by her side. She was 89 years of age.

Elaine spent her early adult life as a hair dresser and long-time manager of the Beauty Pavilion in Malden. She made a mid-life pivot to into the corporate world, ultimately becoming the executive assistant to Mitch Kapor at Lotus Development and later at Kapor Enterprises Inc. Her real passion was cooking for family and friends and bringing people together.

Elaine is the beloved wife of the late Arthur Yeomelakis. She is the devoted mother of George Yeomelakis and his wife Kathy, Paul Yeomelakis and his wife Michelle, Ted Yeomelakis and his wife Robin and Artie Yeomelakis and his wife Christine. Loving grandmother of Michael, Stephanie, Nicholas, Jason, Arthur, Theo, Olivia, Jenna and Elaina, along with eleven great grandchildren. Dear sister of the late Milton Merisotes and Penny DeMone. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass Celebrating Elaine's Eternal Life will be held on Wednesday July 23rd, 2025 at 10 am in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church 70 Montvale Ave. Woburn. Interment will be in Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham. Please meet directly at the church

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with her family on Tuesday July 22nd, 2025 from 4pm - 8pm in the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT28) STONEHAM. Parking attendants and elevator available.
