Elizabeth A. "Betty" (Jamieson) Bourque

Elizabeth A. (Jamieson) Bourque, 81, of Stoneham, beloved wife of the late John Harold Bourque, passed away on Saturday, November 9th, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Malden, she is the loving daughter of the late Richard and Loretta (Curtis) Jamieson.

Affectionately known as Betty, she grew up in Medford and was a graduate of Cheverus Catholic High School. Betty enjoyed taking day trips with family, crocheting and was an avid walker. She also liked to read, be in her garden and was an exceptional cook. Her greatest joy and accomplishment was her family. Betty was a devoted wife, loving mother and adoring grandmother. She will truly be missed by her children, grandchildren, and sisters.

Betty is the loving Mother of Nancy A. Kanouff and her husband Charlie, Michael P. Bourque and his wife Mina, Michelle S. Trottier and her husband Ron and the late Stephen J. Bourque and his surviving wife Ivy Bourque. Cherished grandmother of C.J. and his wife Amy, Christopher, Charnele and her husband Henry, Melissa, Serena, Drew, Jonathan, Kevin and Holly. Beloved daughter of the late Richard and Loretta (Curtis) Jamieson. Dear sister of Loretta McInnis and her late husband Louis, Sandra Steen and her husband James and the late Isabella O'Connell and her late husband James. She was also the aunt to many loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Betty's Family at the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (Rt. 28) Stoneham, on Saturday, November 16th, 2019 from 10:30am to 12:30pm.

Immediately following the visitation, a Celebration of Betty's Life will be held in the funeral home chapel at 12:30pm.

Interment will be held in Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
