McGowan, Elizabeth A. "Betty" (Burden) -Of Danvers, formerly of Somerville, Oct. 15th. Beloved wife of the late James McGowan Sr. Mother of James Jr. of Medford, Pamela Hellihan and her husband George of Revere and Sheryl McGowan of Danvers. Sister of Clara Kenney of NH, John "Sunny" Burton and his wife Lillian and the late Isabella Banks and Elsie Halwix. Grandmother of Elizabeth, Jimmy, Stephen, Matthew and Shamus. Betty is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral service in the  Funeral Home on Friday, Oct.22nd at 12pm. Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home Friday 10am-12pm. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Betty's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
