Elizabeth L. (Long) McCarthy of Stoneham, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill. She was 69 years of age.

Elizabeth was the beloved bride of the late Francis J. McCarthy. She was the best Mother in the World of Lynn Mirisola, Thomas, Cheryl, Frank and Paul McCarthy. The cherished grandmother of eleven, Elizabeth was the dear sister of James Long and Lewis Long, Jr. She was the loving daughter of the late Lewis Long and Ruth E. (Creighton) Long.

Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Elizabeth's Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Friday, March 7, 2014 from 4-8 pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and handicapped elevator are available. Interment Saint Mary's Cemetery, Tewksbury.
