Elizabeth M. "Mae" (Surette) McNulty of Stoneham passed away on Friday, January 22, 2010 at Wingate of Reading. She was 83 years of age.
Born in Stoneham, Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Jacqueline (Pothier) Surette and Henry A. Surette.
Elizabeth was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be missed by all. A devout catholic, Mae attended church daily and was a member of the Weekly Rosary Group. Elizabeth loved to travel and quilt. Her smile reflected all of the warm and special friendships she had made over the years. Mae's family was first and foremost in her life.
Elizabeth was the beloved wife for 56 years of William F. McNulty, Jr. Devoted mother of William F. McNulty, III and his wife Doreen of Woburn and Scott H. McNulty and his wife Elaine of Wakefield. Cherished grandmother of Tyler McNulty. Dear sister of Ralph Surette of Burlington and the late Douglas, Curtis and Edward Surette. Sister-in-law of Muriel Surette, Marguerite Buckless, Dorothy Surrette and the late Mae, Mary, and Connie Surette, Dorothy Carboneau, Katherine Skou and Ray Buckless. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Tuesday at 8 am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Mae's life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 9 am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Monday from 4-8 pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants will be available. Interment Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
