Elizabeth M. (Dooling) Murano, of Westborough, formerly of Stoneham, passed away peacefully on Thursday June 11, 2026 at her home with her family by her side. She was 73 years of age.
A true New Englander at heart, Elizabeth found immense joy in life’s simple and exciting pleasures. She was an avid reader and viewer of true crime, always captivated by a good mystery and a compelling story. Her days were often brightened by the sounds of country music, a genre she truly loved. Her love for the coast was reflected in her deep affection for lighthouses, finding peace and beauty in their enduring presence. Above all, she was a fierce and loyal sports fan. Whether it was the Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins, or the New England Patriots, she rarely missed a game, bringing an unmatched energy and passion to every season as she cheered on her favorite teams.
Elizabeth is the beloved wife of Robert Murano. She is the cherished mother of Mary Bengtson and her late husband David and Melissa Huber and her husband Thomas. Loving grandmother of Destiny Bengtson, AJ Bengtson, LCpl Landon Huber and James Huber. Dear sister of Leo Dooling, Ted Dooling, Marie Yaeger, Grace Closius and Frances Hildonen. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
