Ella L. (Erwin) Redfern of Reading passed away on Monday, June 7, 2004 at the Hospice House in Reading. She was 85 years of age.
Born in Woburn, Ella lived in Reading since 1951. Ella was the adoring daughter of the late Charles Erwin and Ella (Wells) Erwin. Ella was a loving and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She will be missed by all.
Ella was the beloved wife of the late Leonard J. Redfern. She was the devoted mother of Leonard Redfern and his wife Ellen, Brenda Norton and her husband Eugene (Ed), Janis Newcomb and her husband David, all of Reading. Ella was the cherished grandmother of 4, the great grandmother of 4 and the dear sister of Mary Mearls of Woburn.
Funeral from the Joseph Doherty Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING Thursday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Athanasius Church 300 Haverhill St. Reading at 10am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours Wednesday 4-8pm. Parking is available in the municipal parking lot located behind Atlantic Supermarket on Haven St. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Woburn.
