Ernest Eramo, Jr.of Stoneham passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2008 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. He was 70 years of age.
Born in Brighton, Ernest was the loving son of Josephine (Cataldo) and the late Ernest Eramo, Sr. Ernest was a warm and loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He will be sadly missed.
Ernest was a retired Treasurer of Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Boston. He loved oil painting. Ernest also loved gardening and woodworking.
Ernest was the Beloved husband of Elvira (Ferullo) Eramo. He was the Loving son of Josephine (Cataldo) Eramo and the late Ernest Eramo, Sr. Ernest was the Devoted father of Stephen Eramo of Stoneham and Mark Eramo and his wife Janet of Stoneham. He was the Cherished grandfather of Cristina and Annalisa Eramo. Ernest was the Dear brother of Flora Bell and her late husband Donald of VT. Loving brother-in-law of Louise and David Kennedy of Cambridge. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Thursday at 8 am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Ernest's life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 9am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours, Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Parking attendants will be available. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery, Stoneham. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in memory of Ernest to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.
