Ernest L. Gisetto

August 1, 1918 — September 16, 2010

Ernest L. Gisetto, of Reading, passed away on Thursday September 16, 2010 at the Daniels House Nursing Home in Reading.





Born in and raised in Chelsea, Ernest was a resident of Reading for many years. He was a crossing guard in Reading for over 25 years. He enjoyed helping the kids across the street and watching them grow up over the years. His location was at the Killam School in Reading. Being raised in Chlesea, he also worked at Chelsea Chevrolet as a parts manager and salesman for over 30 years.





Ernest was the beloved husband of Sophie (Nadworny) Gisetto of Reading. He was the cherished father of Paul Gisetto and his wife Jean of Wakefield. He was the loving grandfather of Scott Gisetto and his wife Lori of N. Andover and April McCauley and her husband Robert of Ashland and dear great grandfather of Alexander and Keira Gisetto and Danielle McCauley. Son of the late Luigi Gisetto and Giovanina (DiAngelis) Gisetto. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.





Funeral from the Doherty Barile Family Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING Monday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Ernest's Life in St. Agnes Church 186 Woburn St. Reading at 10am.





Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share remembrances with the family on Sunday from 1-4pm in the funeral home. Parking attendants will be available. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
