Ernest LeBlanc of Stoneham passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Woburn Nursing Center. He was 82 years of age.
Born in Boston on December 10, 1931, Ernest was a kind and gentle man. He attended Boston Public Schools. During the Korean War, Ernest proudly defended our freedom by serving as a Private 2nd Class in The United States Army.
Ernest had a passion for music. He enjoyed singing and playing music with his brothers in their country western band. He entertained residents at several local nursing homes. Ernest was proud to have had several of his songs published. He was known for playing "Little Space Girl" for his grandchildren and great grandchildren at family gatherings.
A man of strong faith, Ernest was very active in the Men's Group at Abundant Life Church in Wilmington. He was very loyal and dedicated to his church and could always be found trying to help anywhere he could.
Ernest was the father of Cindy A. Flynn and her husband Rick, James E. LeBlanc and his wife Laurie and John F. LeBlanc and his wife Candace. He was the grandfather of Justin Flynn and his wife Corey, Jillian Barile and her husband Ralph, Aaron Flynn, Ryan LeBlanc, Jenna LeBlanc and Luke LeBlanc. Ernest was the great grandfather of Charlotte, Olivia, Ralph and Reese. He was the brother of Jean LeBlanc, John LeBlanc, Larry LeBlanc, David LeBlanc and the late Earl LeBlanc, Donald LeBlanc, Elizabeth Boudreau and Richard LeBlanc. He was also survived by many nieces and nephews.
