Ernest F. Minghella of Stoneham passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2007 at his home.
Born in Stoneham, Ernest was the loving son of the late Carmen and Antonia (Rotondi) Minghella. He was a dedicated tile setter for many years. Ernest was a proud United States Army Veteran serving our Country during World War II. He was a wonderful family man, enjoying his time spent with family and friends.
Ernest was the Beloved husband for 50 years of Marianne (Peterson) Minghella. He was the devoted father of Lynne Querzoli and her husband Stephen, Stephen Minghella and his wife Susan, Thomas Minghella and his wife Nancy. Ernest was the cherished grandfather of Stephanie and Lauren Querzoli, Eric, Brian, Katherine and Alexandra Minghella. He was the dear brother of Jenny Salera and the late Frank Minghella, Amelio "Mickey" Marrocco and Peter and Thomas Minghella. Ernest was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Wednesday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Ernest's life in St. Patrick's Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours, Tuesday 4-8pm. Parking attendants will be on duty. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery, Stoneham.
