Grammas, Esther R. (Pappas) –Of Melrose, Feb. 26 ^th . Beloved wife of the late George Grammas. Devoted mother of Peter Grammas, Alexander Grammas and his late wife Sarina Grammas, and the late Maria DiTomasso (Grammas). Daughter of the late George and Ruby Pappas. Sister of the late Frank, Paul, Gust, and Peter Pappas, and the late Stella Pharr. Grandmother of Alex Grammas and the late Lynn Marie Grammas. Esther was a dedicated mother who loved to cook, making fresh bread every day for her family. When her children had grown, she began a new career working in the Melrose-Highlands Congregational Church as a Nursery School Teacher until her retirement. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, March 7 ^th at 11:30am. Relatives and friends may visit the funeral home on Monday from 4-7pm. Interment Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
