Ethel Ellen (Moore) Kulick died peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Rowan Court Nursing Home in Barre, VT where she had been a resident since September of 2011. Prior to moving to Vermont, her son, Andrew provided loving care along with her niece, Patti Cail, which enabled her to remain in the comforts of her home while in declining health.
She was born in Carson, Oklahoma to Manuella Nicol Moore and John B Moore. The family moved to Winthrop, MA when she was a little girl. She graduated from Winthrop High School and attended Bentley college. She was employed for years at the East Boston Savings Bank. She retired from the Shawmut Savings Bank in 1988.
Ethel married Andrew Kulick Sr. on July 28, 1956 in Gloucester, MA. He died January 15, 1988. She is survived by her son, Andrew Kulick, Jr. of Wakefield, MA and Melissa Kulick Taft and her husband Mark Taft of Berlin, VT and her three grandchildren, Kimberly, Kristen and Kevin Taft of Berlin, VT. She is survived by her brother, John Moore of Marlborough, MA. Her sister, Alice Peters and her brother, William Moore are deceased. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Ethel and her husband Andrew had been members of the Lynnfield Starlighters Square Dance Group. She was a member of St. Joseph's Parish, and a member of E.M.A.R.C. She enjoyed traveling and spending time in Vermont with her children and grandchildren.
Family and Friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral Service Celebrating Ethel's Life in the Chapel of the Doherty Barile Family Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING Saturday at 11am. Visiting Hours will be Friday from 4-8pm. Interment Lakeside Cemetery, Wakefield.
