Evelyn J. (Bennett) Dalton, of Reading, passed away on Saturday December 8th, 2007 at the Wingate Nursing Home in Reading. She was 94 years of age.
Born in Revere, she was a resident of Reading for many years. Evelyn was a very loving woman who loved her family, especially her grand children. She loved cooking and was a consummate house wife. She will be missed by all.
Evelyn was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Dalton. She was the cherished mother of Mary Jane Quinn and her husband William of Reading and John S. Dalton and his wife Susan of Lynnfield. Loving grandmother of Kathryn Burns and her husband Peter, Thomas Quinn and his wife Nicole, Maura Quinn, Jacob and Noah Dalton, Jamie and Michael Cannata. Devoted great grandmother of three.
Funeral from the Joseph Doherty Barile Family Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING Wednesday at 8am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Evelyn's Life in St. Agnes Church 186 Woburn St. Reading at 9am.
Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours Tuesday 5-8pm. Parking attendants will be available. Interment Forest Hills Cemetery, Lynnfield.
