Evelyn D. (Giannelli) Holland

Evelyn D. (Giannelli) Holland of Medford passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2019. She was 94 years of age.

Born on March 30, 1925 in Medford, Evelyn is the loving daughter of the late Ferdinand Giannelli and Sarah (Casella) Giannelli. Evelyn is a warm and caring daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Evelyn created humor in most situations (with a sweet layer of sarcasm), evolved with the times (even if technology bewildered her), educated others about the importance of a good martini (with a side of ice), and of course made the love and pride for her family known to everyone she met.

Evelyn is the beloved wife of the late William E. Holland. She is the devoted mother of Diane Faro and her husband Steven, Kim Notarangelo and her husband Jack and Gary Holland and his girlfriend Stephanie Cardone. Evelyn was predeceased by her angel grand daughter Erica Faro. She is the cherished grandmother of Taryn McGrath and her husband Patrick, Leanna and Lexi Faro, Derek and Wesley Notarangelo and Krysten and Ashley Holland. Evelyn is the doting great grandmother of Niall McGrath. Evelyn is also lovingly survived by her special friends Marilyn Bernardo, Helyn Carey and Marie Censullo as well as many loving nieces and nephews and their families.

A Funeral Mass Celebrating Evelyn's Eternal Life will be held on Monday, June 17th at 1:30pm in Saint Patrick Church, 71 Central Street Stoneham. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with the Family on Monday, June 17th in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main Street STONEHAM from 11am – 1pm. Parking attendants and elevator are available.
