Evelyn M. (Mancini) Papadinis

Evelyn M. (Mancini) Papadinis peacefully passed away on Thursday January 22, 2026. She was 102 years of age. Born in West Roxbury, and grew up in Revere, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Sara (DiTillio) Mancini. Dear sister of late brothers Anthony, John and Daniel Mancini, and her sister Mary DeThomas. 

Evelyn enjoyed ballroom dancing with her late husband, Jimmy at many weekend events, and bowled in a few candlepin leagues with him. Evelyn was a licensed hair dresser and worked at a laundromat when she was young. She watched every Boston Red Sox game and kept score with her own scorecards. Her hobbies included knitting Afghans, baking Pizzelle cookies, and watching Western shows on TV. Tending her yard and planting flowers was a daily, relaxing task she enjoyed. When you came over to her house, you had to have tea and Italian cookies.

Evelyn is the beloved wife of the late James J. Papadinis. She is the cherished mother of James Papadinis and his girlfriend Christine Carter. Evelyn loved above all her family members, especially her nieces and nephews, Robert, Theresa, Tommy, Freddie, Patsy, Debbie, Tricia, Michael, Jack, Sue, Laurie, and Steve, and many other nieces and nephews.  

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with her family on Saturday January 31, 2026 in the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT28) STONEHAM from 11 am to 12:30 pm followed by a Funeral Service Celebrating Evelyn's Eternal Life at 12:30. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
