Evelyn (Neskey) Tonello

Evelyn (Neskey) Tonello of Stoneham passed away on Friday, September 12, 2104 at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading. She was 100 years of age.

Born on February 21, 1914 in Cambridge, Evelyn was the daughter of the late Charles R. Neskey and Mary V. (Dooley) Neskey. Evelyn was a warm and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Evelyn was a dedicated homemaker. She loved cooking, sewing, playing cards with her friends from Woburn and loved spending time with her dog Katie.

Evelyn was the beloved wife of the late Guido Tonello. She was the devoted mother of Nancy A. Gable. The cherished grandmother of Gary Gable and his wife Catherine and Gail Savard and her husband Donald, Evelyn was the loving great grandmother of Christianna, Amanda and Melina. She was the dear sister of the late Madeline, Charles, Grace, Walter, Leo, Lawrence and Doris. Evelyn was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service Celebrating Evelyn's Eternal Life will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at 11am in the Chapel of the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Monday, September 15, 2014 from 4-8pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and elevator are available. Interment Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington.
