Faye (Linscott) Ingraham, 55, of Royal Crest Drive, North Andover, MA, died peacefully at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston on Monday, March 22, 2010, surrounded by family and friends. She was the beloved wife of Jeffrey Ingraham.
Faye was born in Portland, Maine on July 15, 1954. She attended Bridgton schools and Lake Region High School, graduating in the top 10 of her class of 1972. She attended University of Maine at Gorham for one year. Later she transferred to business school in Portland, Maine and graduated from there in 1974.
She moved to Lewiston, Maine in 1974 had a daughter, Felicia, in 1975. There she worked at the Ramada Inn in Lewiston, Maine for several years.
Faye and Jeffrey had been school classmates in Bridgton and Lake Region since 3rd grade. They has always been the best of friends, reconnected at their High School 30 year reunion and were married in 2003 with a deep commitment to one another.
Faye worked as a clerk in the Reading Town office for 20 years. Eventually she became an assessor and retired in 2006. Later she returned to assessing as a part time job in North Reading.
Faye had a passion for aerobics and taught classes with her best friend Carol Thompson.
Faye is survived by her husband Jeffrey, her mother Patricia Linscott, her brother Richard Linscott, her stepdaughters Teresa and Kristine Ingraham, her daughter Felicia Foote and grandsons Walter, Jason, and Brett Foote.
A Funeral Service celebrating Faye's life will be held on Saturday, April 3rd at 3 pm in the Chapel of the Doherty - Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St. READING. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Saturday, April 3rd from 11-3 pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants will be available.
