Filomena M. (Yebba) Piazza of Stoneham passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2011 at the Aberjona Nursing Center in Winchester. She was 93 years of age.
Born in Boston, Filomena was the loving daughter of the late Maria (Maglio) Yebba and Nicola Yebba. She was warm and caring wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
Filomena was the beloved wife of the late Agostino Piazza. She was the devoted mother of Jeanne Piazza Zuniga and her husband Marlon of FL, Marie Greenhill and her late husband Frank J. of Stoneham and Charles Piazza and his late wife Cecile of Woburn. She was the cherished grandmother of Rhonda Giguere and her husband Rod of ME, Nicole Greenhill of Stoneham, Matthew and Daniel Piazza both of Woburn. Great grandmother of Jaimie, Jenna and Jessica Giguere.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Friday at 9 am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Filomena's Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10 am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Thursday from 4-8 pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants will be available. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
