Flora T. (Dasaro) Silvestro, 91, of North Reading, passed away on Wednesday December 15th, 2021. Devoted wife of John J. Silvestro. Loving mother of John M. Silvestro and his wife Karen Potter of Waltham, Guy Silvestro of San Francisco, California, and the late Paul F. Silvestro. Loving Sister of Mary Schepis of South Carolina, loving brother of Francis "Frank" Dasaro of Everett MA. and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins and extended family. Funeral was from the Cota Funeral Home followed by a mass at St. Theresa's church and internment in Riverside Cemetery, all in North Reading. Flora loved gardening and was a member of the North Reading Garden Club for many years, and also had a passion for painting, traveling, and walks on the beach in Florida. In the 1960's, she worked at AVCO Aerospace Labs as an executive secretary for many scientists involved in the design of parts of the Gemini and Apollo spacecraft. She lived in North Reading for over sixty years and cherished all friends and neighbors who touched her life. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
