Flora Meuse of Neville Place in Cambridge died peacefully on Sunday April 23, 2006. She was 97 years old. She was well loved by many friends and acquaintances.
Flora loved life and lived it to the fullest. She was fiercely independent throughout her life. In 1997 she received an award at Walnut Street Center for Independent Living Achievement. She lived independently until 2002.
Flora worked at Symmes Hospital and Buchanan Nursing Home in Malden early on in life. In recent years Flora enjoyed making doily's, decorating her apartment, shopping at Meadowglenn Mall, and collecting porcelain dolls.
She had many friends and loved ones at Walnut Street Center who will miss her a great deal.
A Funeral Mass celebrating Flora's life will be held on Wednesday at 9am in St. Agnes Church, 186 Woburn St. Reading.
