Frances Chinappi

Frances (Accorto) Chinappi, of Stoneham, passed away peacefully on Tuesday September 30th, 2025 with her family by her side. She was 92 years of age.

Frances was born in Italy and became a refugee during the turmoil of World War II. She often shared stories of her family’s struggles to survive after being forced to flee their home—stories filled with hardship, resilience, and hope. These early life experiences shaped her deeply, instilling in her a profound appreciation for life and a remarkable sense of humor that never faded.

Frances cherished time with her family, especially her grandchildren and their friends. She loved preparing delicious meals that brought everyone together. Later in life, she found great joy in teaching her grandchildren how to cook and sharing cooking tips, often sprinkled with laughter and love.

Her strength, warmth, and zest for life left a lasting legacy. Frances taught those around her to savor each moment.

Frances is the beloved wife of the late Anthony Chinappi. She is the loving mother of Ralph Chinappi and his wife Carol, Paul Chinappi and his wife Laura and Louis Chinappi and his wife Susan. Cherished grandmother of Kayla Seipel and her husband Robert, Liana Brown and her husband Jonathan, Anthony Chinappi, David Chinappi and his wife Micaela, Andrea Chinappi and her husband Jesse Clark, and Nicholas Chinappi. Great grandmother of Theodore and Thomas Brown and Lucca Seipel.

Her family will celebrate a private funeral Mass in her honor, followed by interment at Lindenwood Cemetery in Stoneham.
