Frances H. (Hernandez) Colford

Frances H. (Hernandez) Colford, of Reading, age 92, passed away on June 23, 2016 in Reading. Frances was a loving daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Born in Manila, Philippines on April 26, 1924 Frances came to Reading in 1949 as a new wife and mother. Frances was active in St. Agnes Catholic Church and had many friends. Frances loved spending her time laughing, reading, sewing, crocheting, cooking, and play cards.

Frances was the loving wife to Gerald Colford. Mother to Mary McIntire and her late husband Ted McIntire, James Colford and his wife Laurene, Christopher Colford and his wife Dawn, and Michael Colford and his husband Scot. Grandmother to Tim McIntire and his wife Meg, Amanda Cincotta, and her husband Andrew, Colin and Jesse Colford, and great-grandmother to Owen, Sawyer and Liliana Cincotta.

Funeral from the Doherty – Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St. READING Thursday, June 30th at 9:30am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Frances' Eternal Life in St. Agnes Church, 186 Woburn St. Reading at 10:30am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with the Family on Wednesday, June 29th from 3-7pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and ramped entrance are available. Interment Forest Glen Cemetery, Reading.
