Frances J. (DiGiorgio) Indiciani

Frances J. (DiGiorgio) Indiciani of Manchester by the Sea, formerly of Stoneham passed away unexpectedly at Massachusetts General Hospital on Wednesday, September 16, 2020. She was 76 years of age.

Born on June 16, 1944 in Boston, Frances is the loving daughter of the late William DiGiorgio and Edith (Papa) DiGiorgio. Frances is a warm and caring daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Frances grew up in the North End of Boston before moving to Stoneham to raise her children. She was a loyal and dedicated office manager at Mass General Hospital for over 30 years. After retirement, she took great pride and joy being the receptionist at her daughter's dance studio, Liza Indiciani Studio of Dance. "Miss Fran" loved greeting all the dancers as they entered the studio to learn how to dance. Her proudest moment in life was becoming a "Mimi" to her cherished grandchildren Ella and Conor.

Though Fran was taken from us too soon, our faith reminds us that to live in the hearts we leave behind is to never die.

In addition to her grandchildren, Fran leaves behind her beloved children, Daniel Indiciani and Liza Indiciani – MacFarlane and her husband Dustin. She is also lovingly survived by many, many friends, and acquaintances.

A Funeral Mass Celebrating Frances' Eternal Life will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd at 10am in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham. Capacity limitations and COVID-19 guidelines will be followed.

Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Frances' Family from 8am – 9:30am in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM. Parking attendants and elevator are available. Per MA regulations, face coverings must be worn while at the funeral home and not more than 40% capacity will be allowed in at one time.
