Frances Ann Rienzo

On Saturday December 15th, 2012, Frances Ann ( Kuchenbrod) Rienzo passed away at the Aberjona Nursing Home in Winchester, surrounded by her family. Frances is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, John Joseph Rienzo Jr.
Frances is the beloved mother of 9 children and their spouses, John Joseph III and Nancy, Gerard and Karen, Thomas (deceased) and Cathy, Peter and Joni (deceased), Michael (deceased), Maryann and Thomas, Paul and Susan, Anthony and Mary, Francis and Brenda. She is also survived by 25 loving grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Taryn Vest was one of the loved children embraced in their home.
Frances grew up in New York City where she worked as a secretary until her marriage in 1951. Frances and John became Reading residents in 1956.
Frances was very active in St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church in Reading serving in many leadership and service roles, such as, the choir, lector, sodality, charismatic prayer meeting and leader of song. Frances organized numerous youth and adult events for the church.
Frances enjoyed camping with her family, hiking and climbing. She greatly enjoyed singing and had professional talent. Frances was a talented artist. She enjoyed fishing with John and the family out on the boat as well as rides on her sons' motorcycles. Frances will always be remembered as loving all those she came in contact with.
Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share remembrances with the family in the Doherty-Barile Family Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING on Thursday from 4-8pm. A Funeral Mass Celebrating Frances' Eternal Life will be held Friday December 21 at 10:30am in St. Agnes Church, 186 Woburn St., Reading, MA. Burial will take place in Charles Lawn Memorial Park, Reading
