Francesco (Frank) DiFiore

Francesco C. (Frank) DiFiore of Reading formerly of Everett, passed away on Tuesday August 5, 2014 at Lahey Clinic in Burlington after a sudden illness. He was 64 years of age.

Francesco worked at Lahey Clinic in Burlington for over 25 years as a cytologist in the Pathology department. He had a passion for his job and took great pride knowing he was able to save so many lives due to early detection.

He was known for his love of photography. He captured many great moments with his family on vacations, family parties, and with friends. Francesco was a true friend. He was very giving and was known for his generosity and caring ways. He touched so many lives. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Francesco was the beloved husband of Sharon M. (Kelly) DiFiore. He was the devoted father of Stefan E. DiFiore. Loving son of the late Stefano and Lucia (Tesone) DiFiore.
He was the dear son of son-in-law of Constance and Edward Kelly of Medford. Brother-in-law of Colleen and John Carlino of Malden, Jane and Dan Andrews of Medford and Gail and Bobby Mallardo of Chelmsford. Cousin of Eileen and Paul Tesone, and Carol Tesone Croffy. He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM, Monday, August 11, 2014 at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Francesco's Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am.

Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Sunday, August 10, 2014 from 2-6pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and front entrance elevator are available. Interment Glenwood Cemetery, Everett.
