Francis X. Connors

March 22, 1915 — December 13, 2004

Francis X. Connors, age 89, of Stoneham was born into eternal life Monday, December 13, 2004. Beloved husband of the late Winifred (Feeley) Connors; devoted son of the late Thomas Jeremiah and Mary Julia Brady Connors; brother of the late Stafford, Gregory, Thomas and William; step-father to Margaret Daniels and her husband Peter of Stoneham, Kathleen Leger and her partner Frank Arbing of N. Weymouth, Edwin Feeley and wife Gail of N. Reading, and the late Peter Feeley. Cherished grandfather of 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Cherished friend and uncle to many including Frances Connors of Squantum, Rita and Bradford Bridges of Reading, Alice and Charles Schwieso of Davie, FL, Paul and JoAnne Connors of Lake Forest IL, William Connors Jr. of Quincy, Jan and the late Francis Connors of Wilmington, Carol Connors of Bedford and Robert Connors of Virginia.





Frank and his brothers Tom and Bill were longtime operators of Connors Brothers Oil, a fuel delivery business. In WW II, Frank served in the Army Air Corps with the 522nd Fighter Squadron of the 27th Fighter -Bomber Group in North Africa, Sicily, Italy, France and Germany.





"I was just a regular man who was blessed to have had the wonderful people in my life that I did" he said. Frank's greatest joy were the years of happiness spent with his wife Win, the love of his life and their dog Kiltie.





Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Friday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Patrick's Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours Thursday 3-7pm. Parking attendants will be on duty. Interment Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
