Francis D. Doolin of Reading passed away on February 11, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Theresa (McMahon) Doolin. Devoted father of Dennis Doolin and his wife Susan. Cherished grandfather of Sean Doolin and his wife Devin of Medfield, Kelly Doolin of Dublin, Ireland and Jennifer Doolin of Reading. Loving great-grandfather of Hadley Elizabeth Doolin. Dear brother of the late Theresa Davenport. Proud Uncle to Fred, Karl, Bill, and Eric Popken. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Francis, affectionately known as "Papa" was an avid Boston Sports Fan. His greatest love was for the Boston Red Sox. He was an US Army Korean War Veteran. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, February 16th from 8:30~9:15am in the Cota Funeral Home, 335 Park St. (Corner of Rt.28 and Park St. at the North Reading Line). Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St, Medford, MA at 10am. Interment will be in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Ave, Bourne, MA at 2pm.
