Francis M. "Frankie" DeCrescenzo

Francis M. “Frankie D” DeCrescenzo of Stoneham passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at Brigham & Women’s Hospital surrounded by his loving family.  He is 85 years of age.

Born on Sunday, August 1, 1937 in Boston, Frank is the loving son of the late Michael DeCrescenzo and Mary (Bossi) DeCrescenzo.  Frank is a warm, gentle and loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend who will be deeply missed.

Frank graduated from East Boston High School.  He then graduated from Boston State College (now known as UMASS Boston) with a mechanical engineering degree. For 35 years, Frank worked as a mechanical engineer for Polaroid.

Frank was the beloved husband of the late Annette (Brogna) DeCrescenzo.  He is the devoted father of David DeCrescenzo and his wife Rita and Stephen DeCrescenzo and his wife Kimberlee.  The cherished grandfather of Ava, Mia, Tiana, Domenic and Alana DeCrescenzo, Frank was the dear brother of the late Michael DeCrescenzo.  He is also lovingly survived by many nieces and friends.

A Funeral Mass Celebrating Frank’s Eternal Life will be held on Tuesday, August 30^th at 10am in Saint Patrick Church, 71 Central Street Stoneham.  Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Frank’s Family prior to the Mass from 8:30 – 9:30am in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main Street Stoneham.  Parking attendants and elevator are available.  Interment Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
