Francis L. "Poute" Gerrior, of Stoneham, passed away on Saturday April 26th, 2008. He was 80 years of age.
Francis was the loving son of the late Leo Gerrior and Eleanor (Cullen) Gerrior. He was raised in Wakefield before becoming a resident of Stoneham for over 50 years. He was a plasterer with the plasterers Union Local 10.
Francis proudly served our Country as a member of the United States Army during the Korean Conflict being stationed in Germany. Francis was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He will be missed by all.
Francis was the beloved husband of Meta (Keller) Gerrior. He was the devoted father of Malcom Keller, Frank Gerrior both of Stoneham, Steven Gerrior of Andover , Joseph Gerrior of Stoneham, and the late Leo T. Gerrior and Lorraine M. (Gerrior) Maguire both formerly of Stoneham. Loving grandfather of Staff Sgt. Damien Gerrior of N.C., Desiree Gerrior of ME, Steven and Kristina Gerrior both of Ayer, Samatha and Morgan Gerrior, and Thomas Maguire all of Stoneham. Dear brother of Alice Fletcher and Eleanor Malonson both of Wakefield, Shirley Branco of Andover, Leona Carr of Wakefield, William Deveau of N.H. and the late Wallace Gerrior. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT28) STONEHAM Wednesday at 8am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Francis' Life in St. Patrick's Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 9am.
Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours Tuesday 4-8pm. Parking attendants will be available. Interment Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
