Francis "Buddy" Roberts

Francis A. "Buddy" Roberts of Stoneham passed away on May 3, 2015 at age 80.

Francis was the beloved husband of the late Janet A. (Marks) Roberts. He was the devoted father of Francis A. Roberts, Jr. and his late wife Catherine, Richard P. Roberts, Joanne M. Roberts and Lisa J. Costa and her husband John. Francis was the cherished grandfather of Shawn Roberts, Joseph Roberts, Richard P. "Buddy" Roberts, Thomas Dignan and his wife Sarah and Maria A. Costa. He was the loving son of the late Arthur and Anna (DiGiacomo) Roberts. Francis was the dear brother of Claire Lund and her late husband William and brother-in-law of Loretta Simmons.

Francis was a graduate of Stoneham High School class of 1953 and a member of the Stonaham Veterans Committee.

Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Francis's Eternal Life in Saint Joseph Church, 173 Albion Street, Wakefield at 10am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 from 6-8pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and elevator available.
