Francis A. Rotondi

August 16, 1942 — March 17, 2008

Francis A. "Frank" Rotondi, of Stoneham, passed away on Monday March 17, 2008 at Tufts New England Medical Center. He was 65 years old.





Born in Woburn, Frank was a resident of Stoneham for many years. He was a member of Local 4 Operating Engineers for over 40 years. His last job was with Bencor on the Big Dig in Boston in 1999. He had a passion for cars. He was the original owner of a 1964 T-Bird. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be missed by all who knew him.





Frank was the beloved husband of Emma (LaCarbonara) Rotondi. He was the devoted father of Lisa Demos and her husband Ernie of NH, Christine DiVirgilio and her husband Ralph of Billerica, Stephanie Grimes and her husband Michael of Beverly, and Tiffany Andrus and her husband Ben of Metheun. Cherished grandfather of Andrea, Andrew and Sophia Demos, Benjamin Jr., and Nathan Andrus, Sabrina Grimes and Gabriella DeVirgilio. He was the dear brother of Charles Rotondi of Stoneham, Joan Doucette of Reading and the Late Annette Marks of Stoneham. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.





Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Thursday at 9am followed by a Funeral Service Celebrating Frank's Life in St. Patrick Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10 am.





Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours Tuesday 7-9pm and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Parking attendants will be available. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery, Stoneham.





In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Frank may be made to American Heart Association 20 Speen St. Framingham MA 01701.
