Francis X. "Frank" Foster Jr.

Francis X. Foster Jr. of Stoneham, Massachusetts and Lake Worth, Florida passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 4^th, 2023. 

Born on Monday, November 27, 1944 in Cambridge, Frank is the loving son of the late Francis X. Foster and Mary (McCarthy) Foster.

Frank attended Boston College where he enjoyed going to BC Eagles games.  He was a Sergeant in the United States Army and later employed as a claims adjuster for Aetna/Travelers Insurance Company.  Frank loved traveling with his wife, family and friends to St. Thomas, Florida, Jekyll Island, Alaska and countless other locations.

Frank was a lifetime member of Dorchester Yacht Club and would spend much of his time boating and lobstering with his brother and friends on Boston Harbor and Cape Cod.

Frank will be missed for his wonderful sense of humor and making us all laugh.

Frank is the beloved husband of Robin Gillis Foster.  He is the dear brother of Ellen Varella, Susanne Collins and the late Martin C. Foster.  Preceded in death by Diane Conforti, Frank is survived by several nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins, great nieces and great nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
