Frank M. Bomba, of Stoneham passed away Friday, June 9, 2006 at the Winchester Hospital. He was 80 years of age.
Born in Waltham, Frank was the son of the late Michael and Mary (Iannuzzo) Bomba. He was former president and partner of Barbo's Furniture Company Inc. He also served as past president of New England Floor Covering Association. Frank was a U.S. Marine Corps Lance Corporal Veteran serving our Country during World War II.
Frank was the beloved wife of the late Lucy P. (Barbo) Bomba. He was the devoted father of Frank M. Bomba and his wife Theresa of Wakefield, Leonard J. Bomba and his partner Daniel Burns of NH, Michelle M. DiSangro and her husband Arthur of Saugus, Wendy A. Bomba Hogan of NH and Michael P. Bomba of FL. Cherished grandfather of Jason Bomba and his wife Cindy, Jeremy M. Bomba, Brian Shepherd, Jessica Shepherd, Alison Bomba and Correy Burns. Loving great grandfather of Lindsay and Joshua Bomba and Giana Joseph. Dear brother of Concetta DeMarco and her husband Robert, Rosario Bomba and his wife Barbara, Elena LePordo and her husband Carl, Amy Gullotto and her late husband Peter and the late Phyllis Fiandaca and James J. Bomba. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Tuesday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Frank's life in St. Patrick's Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours Sunday 3-7 pm and Monday 5-9 pm. Parking attendants will be on duty. Interment Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
