Frank T. Filamond of Stoneham passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2006 at his home. He was 64 years of age.
Born in Medford, Frank was the loving son of the late Joseph Filamond and Ruth (Sullivan) Filamond. Frank was a warm and caring son, husband, father and friend. He will be sorely missed.
Frank was the Deputy Chief of the Medford Fire Department. He was a dedicated member of the Marconi Club in Stoneham, the Medford Fire Fighters Club and the Stoneham Elks. Frank was a selfless man who would always help anyone at any time. He loved going to New Hampshire and also riding his motorcycle. Frank truly enjoyed life. He loved his family. They were first and foremost in his life. Frank was a proud member of the United States Army.
Frank was the beloved husband for 38 years to Marcia A. (Devoe) Filamond. He was the devoted father of Lynne DiPerri and her husband John of Tewksbury and Mark Filamond of Billerica.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Thursday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Frank's life in St. Patrick's Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours Wednesday 3-7pm. Parking attendants will be on duty. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery, Stoneham.
