Gael N. Desmond

January 25, 1937 — July 8, 2016

Gael N. Desmond of Reading, passed away peacefully on Friday July 8th, 2016. She was at 79 years old.

Born in Reading, Gael was the beloved daughter of Daniel J. Desmond and Helen (Tirrell) Desmond. She was employed by the Town of Reading for many years as accounting clerk for many years. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Gael was the beloved sister of Brian F. Desmond, Terrence J. Desmond, Sheila Fortunata and her husband Felix, Michael L. Desmond and his wife Anne, and the late Kevin D. Desmond, Joan King, James E. and Dermot J. Desmond. She was the sister in law of Mary Desmond and Albert King. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.

Funeral form the Doherty Barile Family Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING Monday July 11th at 9:30am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Gael's Eternal Life in St. Agnes Church 186 Woburn St. Reading at 10:30am.

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share remembrances with the family on Sunday July 10th from 2-5pm in the funeral home. Parking attendants and ramped entrance available.
