Gaetano A. "Gus" Aprile

September 18, 1926 — September 19, 2018

Gaetano A. "Gus" of Aprile of Medford passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Bear Hill Nursing Center in Stoneham. He was 92 years of age.

Gus is the beloved husband of Louise (Trotto) Aprile. He is the devoted father of Jeanne M. Harrington and her husband David, Edward C. Aprile and his fiancé Stephanie Arseneault, Karen L. Riordan and her husband Kenneth, Kathy M. Ferrante and Susan D. Butts. The cherished grandfather of Brooke, April, David, Christopher, Stephen, Lauren, Kenneth, Mark, Erik, Joseph, Derek and William, Gus was blessed with 9 beautiful great grandchildren. He is the dear brother of Armando "Arnie" Aprile and his wife Betty and the late Theresa Trapani, Tina Amabello, Louis Aprile and Susan Rita. Gus is the son of the late Edward and Eugania Aprile. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

During World War II, Gus proudly defended our freedom by serving as a Seaman 1st class in the US Navy.

A Funeral Mass Celebrating Gus' Eternal Life will be held on Monday, September 24th at 10am in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham. PLEASE GO DIRECTLY TO CHURCH. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
