Gail P. (Allard) Simmons of Stoneham, formerly of Reading passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at her home. She was 70 years of age.
Born in Burlington, VT, Gail was the loving daughter of the late Bernard and Helen (Lavoie) Allard. Gail was a warm and caring daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She will be sadly missed. Gail would best be remembered as a creative and artistic woman. She was very inspiring, loving, courageous and a good friend to all who knew her.
Gail was the devoted mother of Linita Simmons of Stoneham and Christine Simonds of Northbridge. She was the cherished grandmother of Bryce, Kayleigh and the late Graham. Gail was the dear sister of Julia Dunsmoor of Hawaii, Jan Yazinka and her husband Rich of Melrose, Bonnie VanOrnum of NJ, Bobby VanOrnum and his wife Sharon of VT, Kay Cooper and her husband Leon of RI. She was also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A Funeral Service celebrating Gail's Eternal Life will be held on Thursday at 7pm in the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. STONEHAM. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Thursday from 4-7pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants will be available.
